Air Transportation

Some cruises start and end up in places that are a regional hub of air transportation (Labuhanbajo, Maumere, Ambon, Timika) and are linked to the international airports of Jakarta (Java) and Denpasar (Bali). Although we will in general take care of making reservations of these domestic flights, participants are free to make their own arrangements.

Immigration

Nationals of most countries don't need to apply for their visas to enter Indonesia from their home countries. The Immigration grants a visa-on-arrival of USD25 for a period of 30 days.

For more information about visa-on-arrival, please visit our news page.

Insurance

We recommend that before your departure you have checked if your travel insurance secures the proper coverage. The remoteness of the islands we visit can make an emergency medical evacuation very costly.
